Ultimo 1990, consisting of quarterly reports from Danish veterinarians provided detailed information from all of Denmark, on animal and human health issues. The water binding efficacy of Adsorb Plus is enhanced in the presence of Ammonia. 100g of Adsorb Plus will bind 80g of water, which can be seen in the container on the left side.

If a small amount of ammonia is added to the container, the water binding capacity of Adsorb Plus increases dramatically. The container on the left shows 100g of Adsorb Plus binding 400g of water.

This chemical profile of Adsorb Plus is highly useful in livestock facilities, where increased levels of moisture correlates with increased levels of ammonia.

Adsorb Plus is most effective when utilized at the low usage rate of one pound per one hundred square feet – on a weekly basis. A building with the dimensions of 500 feet by 32 feet would have 16,000 square feet of space. The building then requires 160 pounds of product per treatment. Higher use rates, per treatment, will not improve performance of the product.
